What we process and why
- Tenant account: name, e-mail, phone, room, move-in and move-out dates, rent — to run your tenancy (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, the contract).
- Sign-in: your e-mail address and a one-time code sent to it; a session token stored in your browser. No password.
- Repairs: what you report, photos you attach, your preferred contact time — so we can fix it.
- Rent: the month, amount and a receipt you or we upload — to match payments.
- Bookings and check-list: services you book on your page and items you tick off — to organise them.
- Referrals: the code you share and who signs up with it — to pay your bonus.
Who helps us (processors)
- Supabase (database and sign-in e-mails), servers in the EU (Frankfurt).
- Vercel (hosting of this site).
- IONOS (our e-mail).
- WhatsApp only when you choose to message the team there; WhatsApp’s own privacy terms apply.
How long
For the tenancy and the statutory retention periods afterwards (tax law: up to 10 years for invoices and payments; 3 years for contractual claims). Photos of repairs and receipts are deleted after that.
Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection — write to info@cap1living.com. You may complain to a supervisory authority; ours is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
Cookies
No tracking, no advertising cookies. The site keeps your sign-in session in your browser’s storage; that is all.
Datenschutzerklärung (Kurzfassung)

Wir verarbeiten Mieterdaten (Name, E-Mail, Telefon, Zimmer, Mietzeitraum, Miete), Reparaturmeldungen mit Fotos, Zahlungsbelege, Buchungen und Empfehlungscodes zur Durchführung des Mietverhältnisses (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO). Auftragsverarbeiter: Supabase (Datenbank und Anmelde-E-Mails, Server in Frankfurt), Vercel (Hosting), IONOS (E-Mail). Speicherung für die Dauer des Mietverhältnisses und die gesetzlichen Aufbewahrungsfristen. Betroffenenrechte (Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung, Datenübertragbarkeit, Widerspruch) per E-Mail an info@cap1living.com; Beschwerderecht bei der Berliner Beauftragten für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
